TEMPE, Ariz. – Flagler College juniors Luisa Hrda and Eden Schlagenhauf along with senior Alessandra Traub were ranked by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association in its initial rankings for singles and doubles earlier this month.

Hrda was ranked No. 6 in the nation in singles. The Aschaffenburg, Germany native posted a 12-3 record in singles this fall, which included an ITA Southeast Regional title and berth in the ITA Cup. Hrda was an ITA All-America in singles as well as a first-team All-Peach Belt Conference selection in singles and doubles last spring. She finished with a 14-3 singles record and went 11-5 in doubles last season.

Schlagenhauf and Traub were ranked No. 23 in doubles. The duo turned in a 4-3 record this fall. Schlagenhauf was a first team all-conference selection in singles and earned second team all-league honors in doubles. Traub was picked to the second team all-conference in singles and doubles.

The Flagler women's tennis team opens the 2022 season at Barry University on Feb. 5. The home opener is Feb. 12 against Auburn University at Montgomery.
