WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Five Flagler College players finished with five or more kills in a 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-8) sweep of the University of West Alabama Saturday morning at the South Region Crossover Tournament at the AdventHealth Fieldhouse.
Flagler (16-3) ran its winning streak to 11 matches, the program's longest streak since the 2017 season. West Alabama dropped to 1-16.
Jordan Berglin led the way for the Saints with a match-high eight kills and four digs.
Molly Boyd tied her season-high with seven kills and finished with a .700 hitting percentage.
Arianna Lopez added six kills and two total blocks while
Kennedy Muff and
Victoria Bowrosen each contributed five kills. Muff tallied 28 assists and
Edie Lamoreaux had a team-high 14 digs to go along with four aces.
Madison Fisher led West Alabama with seven kills and 10 digs. Maddie Van Dyke tallied 21 assists and MacKenzie Wells collected a match-high 15 digs.
The Saints dominated in the third set hitting at a .423 clip. The Tigers were limited to a -.179 hitting percentage.
Flagler wraps up play in the tournament this afternoon against Christian Brothers University at 4:45 p.m.
