Marcus Graham of the men's cross country team was named as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by St. Augustine Inn, for the month of October.

He received the athlete of the week honor on Oct. 4.

(from Oct. 4) The Bristow, Indiana native won his first race in the Crimson & Gold posting an 8K time of 25:13.8 at Florida State Invitational Open Division. Graham finished 5.4 seconds ahead of the University of South Alabama's Collin Yego. He was in second place at the 7000-meter mark, but finished the final 1000 meters in 3:41.9. Graham helped lead the Saints a second place finish.

Graham went on to win the next two races, the Sand Shark Invitational and the UNG/PBC Preview, also in the month of October.

He and the Saints will compete for the Peach Belt Conference title on Nov. 14 at Oakwood, Georgia.
