DAYTONA BEACH – The Flagler College men's tennis team made the short trek down to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University this weekend (Sept. 20-22) for the ERAU Open to begin the fall season.

Tommaso Bagon went a perfect 4-0 in singles competition, playing in the White Flight. He posted wins over Miguel Bieias of Southeastern (6-3, 6-0), Blake Rowheder of Embry-Riddle (3-6, 6-4, 10-7), Tyler Glowaki of Southeastern (7-6(5), 6-3), and Alec Lichter of Southeastern (6-4, 6-3).

Luca Bolla went 3-1 in the Blue Flight while Rodrigo Carvalho posted a 3-1 mark in the Gold Flight. Felipe Carvalho and Cedric Holzmann both went 2-2 while Rasmus Jonsson posted a 1-3 mark.

In doubles, Bagon and Jonsson were paired together and came away with a 2-1 record. The Carvalho brothers went 1-1 while Bolla and Holzmann went 1-2.

Flagler continues its fall season Sept. 27-30 at the ITA Southeast Regional at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.
