Rollins upsets No. 15 Flagler

WINTER PARK, Fla. – Rollins College rallied to knock off No. 15 (Oracle/ITA Division II ranking) Flagler College 5-2 in a non-conference men's tennis match Thursday afternoon at the Bert Martin Tennis Complex.

Rollins remained undefeated at 5-0 while Flagler had its three-match winning streak snapped and fell to 5-3.

The Saints struck quickly with wins at Nos. 3 and 1 doubles to take the first point. Luca Bolla and Daniel Arrien rolled to a 6-2 win while Lukas Storck and Konstantin Dustmann clinched the point with their 6-4 win at No. 1.

The Tars bounced back and won four consecutive singles matches, all in straight sets. Nicolo de Fraia defeated Storck at No. 1 singles 6-4 and 6-2 to clinch the match.

Felipe Carvalho won his fifth match in a row with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win over Gai Feigin at No. 4 singles.

Flagler heads to Charlotte for two matches on Sunday (March 3). The Saints take on Queens University of Charlotte and then Johnson C. Smith University, weather permitting.
