SAINT LEO, Fla. – Kyran McClure scored 15 of his 21 points in the second half as Saint Leo University defeated Flagler College 74-45 in a non-conference men's basketball game at the Marion Bowman Activities Center.
Flagler (2-3) posted a 1-1 record at the Saint Leo Classic. Saint Leo improved to 3-1 and won both games in the tournament.
McClure made six of Saint Leo's 13 three-pointers. Isaiah Hill led the Lions with a game-high 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field. Wade Coomer added 11 points and seven rebounds while Yalen Reed grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
Saint Leo held a 32-30 lead at the half and went on to shoot 50 percent (15-30) from the field in the second half and scored 47 points. The Lions held the Saints to a 23.3 percent (7-30) mark in the final 20 minutes.
Allante Pickens led Flagler with 11 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
Damir Hadzic added nine points while
Derrick Ellis, Jr. tacked on eight more.
Flagler continues its road trip with a game at Paine College on Saturday (Nov. 23) at 3 p.m. in Augusta, Georgia.
