Heloise Duffie de Tassigny selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week

Heloise Duffie de Tassigny of the women's cross country team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Nov. 4.

This is Duffie de Tassigny's second weekly award this fall.

The Angers, France native won the individual race by completing the 5K course in 18:18.4 at the Peach Belt Conference Championship on Saturday. She is the second women's runner from Flagler to win the individual title, joining Sara Mund who did it in 2013. Duffie de Tassigny won the race by 14.5 seconds and helped the Saints win their second conference title. She was honored the day before the race at the awards banquet as the PBC's Runner of the Year.

The Saints will compete at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional on Nov. 17 at Oakwood, Georgia.
