NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Flagler College women's cross country team moved up three spots to No. 3 in the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Southeast Region ranking, which was released Tuesday (Oct. 16).
"The ladies are really coming into form now, with just under five weeks until NCAA's," said head coach
Brian Beil. "There's still one big weekend of racing to go that may shake up the rankings, but we know for sure that we can be right in mix with the other top teams in the conference and region. Our primary focus right now is to handle our business, every day, so we can be in a great position come mid-November. We certainly have the potential for a special season if we can bring it all together and have strong performances from all of our ladies at the same time."
