ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College never trailed as it swept Augusta University (25-18, 25-20, 25-18) in the final regular season home match at Flagler Gymnasium Saturday afternoon.

Flagler won is 14
th match in a row and improved to 19-3 overall and 8-1 in the Peach Belt Conference. The Saints move into first place after the University of South Carolina Aiken suffered a 3-1 setback at Georgia College. Augusta fell to 16-13 overall and 5-5 in conference play.
Both seniors had good numbers in their final matches at home. Valmyr recorded her 12
th double-double with 11 kills and she had a match-high 10 digs.
Sara Davis added seven kills, three total blocks and had an ace.
Karlie Redfern recorded a match-high 13 kills, hit .346 and added five digs and three total blocks. Raquel Kulak chipped in with six kills, hit .417 and recorded five total blocks. Tara Savisky tallied 37 assists and had nine digs, three aces and two total blocks.
Savanna Gonzales led the Jaguars with 10 kills and added five digs and two total blocks. Alyssa Frazier collected four total blocks. Chloe Allen led the defense with nine digs. McKenzey Beck tallied 22 assists.
Flagler concludes the regular next weekend with three road matches. The Saints take on the Braves of the University of North Carolina Pembroke on Friday (Nov. 10).
