The second set featured 15 ties and 10 lead changes. A hitting error by Craine gave set point to the Mocs, 24-23, and caused Flagler to call a timeout. Out of the break, Craine redeemed herself with a cross-court kill. The score would flip-flop until a kill by Craine gave the Saints a 30-29 lead and
Caitlyn Kovach served an ace to end the set with Flagler winning 31-29.
Florida Southern broke open a 7-all tie in the third set with a 4-0 run and did not look back in a 25-16 win.
The Saints dug a 19-11 hole in the fourth set but went on a 10-3 run to pull to within one point, 22-21. Kills by Morgan Kosterlitz and Pietkiewicz set-up match point for the Mocs, but the Saints staved off the first match point. Stromberg closed out the match with a kill.
