Box Score ST. AUGUSTINE – No. 10 (Campbell's/ITA Division II Top 25) Francis Marion University defeated No. 27 Flagler College 6-3 in a Peach Belt Conference men's tennis match Sunday afternoon at the Flagler Tennis Center.

Francis Marion improved to 8-3 overall and 5-2 in the Peach Belt while Flagler fell to 5-11 overall and 2-5 in conference play.

The Saints took a 2-1 lead after the doubles matches were completed. Peter Coulis (Bradenton, Fla., Edison Academic Center) and Adam Hunt (Woking, England, Mercer University) defeated Jack Bishop and Jonathan Hain 8-6 at No. 2 awhile Uriel Oquendo (Miramar, Fla., Broward Virtual School) and Inigo Landaluce (Madrid, Spain, New Efeso School) downed Dirk Bair and Tim Ruepke 8-4.

Coulis, ranked No. 48 in the nation, garnered Flagler's lone singles point with a straight sets win over Bishop, 6-3 and 6-1.

Flagler hosts top-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State University on Saturday (Apr. 7) at 2 p.m. at the Flagler Tennis Center.
