ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College rolled past UNC Pembroke 3-0 (25-7, 25-18, 25-21) in a Peach Belt Conference volleyball match Saturday afternoon at Flagler Gymnasium. Flagler honored its four seniors before the match: Dianna Craine, Casey Gnann, Crystal Niederriter and Rachel Stacy.

Flagler improved to 17-7 overall and 9-0 in the Peach Belt. UNC Pembroke suffered its 14th-consecutive loss and dropped to 5-18 overall and 0-9 in conference play.

All four Flagler seniors figured prominently in the match. Rachel Stacy had 11 kills and just one error on 17 swings for an impressive .588 hitting percentage. Dianna Craine also had an efficient day with 10 kills and only one error on 28 swings for a .321 percentage. Crystal Niederriter recorded 10 kills and had one error on 15 swings for a career-high .600 hitting percentage. Casey Gnann led the defense with 13 digs.

Emilee Taylor led the Saints with 13 kills and hit .524 for with just two errors on 21 swings. Caitlyn Kovach added 12 digs and six assists while Amelia Morgan tallied 31 assists.

Marissa Baker led the Lady Braves with 13 kills and seven digs. Ashlyn Rebok tallied 17 assists and nine digs.

The Saints opened the first set on a 16-1 run en route to a 25-7 win. Flagler hit .538 with 16 kills and two errors on 26 swings. Craine recorded six kills.

A Rebok kill gave UNCP an early 4-3 lead, but a Craine kill tied the set at 4-all and ignited a 4-0 run and the Saints never looked back. Taylor recorded six kills and hit .625 in the set.

In the third and final set, an ace by Sawyer Gray and a hitting error on Flagler knotted the set 16-all. But a block by Rachel Wilkes, an attack error by UNCP and an ace by Gnann prompted a Lady Brave timeout. The Saints completed the rally coming out of the break when Wilkes recorded a kill and Flagler led 20-16.

Flagler will play the remainder of its regular season on the road starting on Friday (Nov. 2) at Augusta State University at 7 p.m.
