ST. AUGUSTINE − The No. 21 (Golf World/NGCA Coaches Poll) Flagler College women's golf team carded a 321 and won by two strokes in the Flagler Tri-Match Friday at the Word Golf Village's Slammer & Squire Course (par 72; 5,824 yards).

The University of Missouri-St. Louis finished second with a 323 and Gustavus Adolphus College shot a 341. Daniela Viotti of UMSL carded a 1-over par 73 to earn medalist honors. She held off Flagler's Victoria Seenath (Toronto, Ontario, Seminole State College of Florida) by three strokes. Seenath shot a 76. 

Elin Karlsson (Vanersborg, Sweden, Vaxjo Fria Gymnasium) finished third with a 6-over 78 and Maria Alstrom (Falsterbo, Sweden, Sundsgymnasiet) finished fourth with a 7-over 79. Marissa Marinan (Niceville, Fla, Niceville HS) shot a season-best round of 82and finished in seventh place. Leslie Choucard (Chessy, France, Mercer University) and Lauren Benetti (Celebration, Fla., Daytona State College) finished 10th and 11th, respectively. Choucard carded a 13-over 85 and Benetti was a shot back with a 14-over 86. Kelsey Hughes (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., Allen D. Nease HS) shot a 17-over 89 and tied for 14th place.

Flagler will now prepare to defend its Peach Belt Conference Tournament title which will be played Apr. 11-12 at the Savannah Quarters County Club in Pooler, Ga.
