LAKELAND − The Flagler College women's golf team finished in fifth place at the 54-hole Lady Moc Classic which concluded Tuesday at The Club of Eaglebrooke (par 72, 6255 yards). The Saints shot a three-round 950, which included a final round 320.

Top-ranked (NGCA Coaches Poll) Nova Southeastern University headed the 15-team field with an 888. They held off the host school, No. 2 Florida Southern College (910), by 22 strokes. Sandra Changkija and Taylor Collins of Nova Southeastern tied for first in the 83-woman field with a 2-over par 218. 

Elin Karlsson (Vanersborg, Sweden, Vaxjo Fria Gymnasium) led the Flagler contingent with a 17-over 233 and finished in 13th place. Victoria Seenath (Toronto, Canada, Seminole State College of Florida) finished 21st with 20-over 236. She had the best round of the day for the Saints with a 1-over 73. Leslie Choucard (Chessy, France, Mercer University) tied for 23rd place with a 22-over 238. Lauren Benetti (Celebration, Fla., Daytona State College) finished in 33rd place with a 27-over 243. Maria Alstrom (Falsterbo, Sweden, Sundsgymnasiet) rounded out the field for Flagler with a 38-over 254 and finished in a five-way tie for 50th place.

Flagler will now prepare for the AASU Lady Pirate Invitational Mar. 6-7 in Pooler, Ga.
