KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Flagler College junior forward
Lindsay Zullo (Hudson, Fla., Hudson HS) was selected to the 2011 NSCAA Division II All-Southeast Region women's soccer second-team, as released Friday afternoon.
Zullo joins Tiffany Urquhart (second-team, 2009) as the only NSCAA all-region team members in the women's soccer program's history.
She scored eight goals and tallied one assist for a total of 17 points last fall. Zullo led the team with four game-winning goals. A preseason All-Peach Belt Conference selection to start the year, she was named to the all-conference first-team at the conclusion of the season. Zullo was selected as the PBC's “Offensive Player of the Week” on Sept. 27. She was tied for fourth in the PBC in shots (79) and tied for fifth in game-winning goals.
Flagler finished the season with a 9-8-1 overall record and a 5-4-1 mark in conference play. The Saints were eliminated in the conference quarterfinals.
