ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH, Fla. - The Flagler College women's golf team finished in fourth place after shooting a 315 in the final round of the eighth annual Flagler Fall Slam Tuesday afternoon at the Marsh Creek Country Club (6,062 yards; par 72). The Saints shot a two-day total of 639.

Barry University took first place and won by eight strokes over defending Flagler Fall slam champion, Saint Leo University. Barry finished with a 625 and Saint Leo tallied 633 shots. Both teams shot 311 in the first round, held yesterday.

Saint Leo's Heather Petronis shot a 7-over par 151 to earn medalist honors. She edged out fellow teammate Jordan Hatch and Barry's Elizabeth Over by two strokes.

#Leslie Choucard# (Chessy, France/Mercer University) recorded her second top 10 finish with an 11-over 155 to finish in a tie for sixth place. #Victoria Seenath# had her best finish of the season, a tie for 14th, with a 16-over 160. #Lauren Benetti# (Celebration, Fla./Daytona State College) finished in a tie for 18th place with a 17-over 161. #Elin Karlsson# (Vanersborg, Sweden/Vaxjo Fria Gymnasium) shaved eight strokes off her first round total by carding a 78 and finished in a tie for 28th place with a 20-over 164. #Maria Alstrom# (Falsterbo, Sweden/Sundsgymnasiet) rounded out Flagler's scorers with a 28-over 172 and finished in a tie for 59th place. #Kelsey Hughes# (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla./Allen D. Nease HS) shot a 38-over 182, as an individual to tie for 81st place. #Marissa Marinan# (Niceville, Fla./Niceville HS), also playing as an individual, shot a 43-over 187 to finish in a tie for 87th place.
