ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Flagler College (31-22, 10-11 Florida Sun) swept a Florida Sun Conference baseball doubleheader from Northwood University (22-26, 2-16) 7-0 and 8-1 Saturday afternoon to end the season on a four-game winning streak and a sweep of its final conference series of the year.
In the opener, Flagler plated three runs in the third and four more in the fifth to roll to a 7-0 win.
Austin Donmoyer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove Area HS) (6-3) tossed a complete game four-hitter and tied his season-high of eight strikeouts. He induced 10 fly ball outs and only let two runners reach scoring position.
With two outs and the bases loaded in the fourth inning, senior leftfielder
Kris King (Youngstown, Ohio/Santa Fe CC) ripped a two-run single into left field to give the Saints a 2-0 lead.
Kenny Bargfeldt (Fishers, Ind./Ball State U.) followed with a an RBI double to left-center.
Bargfeldt doubled in the fifth driving in a pair of runs to give Flagler a 6-0 advantage.
King went 2-for-3 with a runs scored and three RBI while Bargfeldt went 2-3 with two doubles, a run scored and three RBI to pace Flagler.
Jorge Marquez (Caracas, Venezuela/North Iowa Area CC) collected a pair of singles.
Herbert Cruz III (4-8) tossed four-plus innings, allowed nine hits and all seven runs in the loss. He did strikeout five batters. Sammy Monatanez went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles.

In the second game, the Saints again exploited the third inning, plating four runs in the third and tallied three more in the sixth en route to an 8-1 win.
Brad Jackson (Havana, Fla./North Florida CC) (4-3) went the distance and allowed just four hits, one run and struck out six batters to earn the victory.

Chris Guerra (Fremont, Calif./Mont Mercy College) led off the third with a double to right-center and fellow senior
Randy Miller (Jacksonville, Fla./Florida CC-Jacksonville) followed with a double down the leftfield line, plating Guerra with the eventual game winning run. Two batters later, Bargfeldt drove Miller home on a single to right through a draw in infield. Two batters later, King belted an RBI double to left-center putting the Saints ahead 4-0. Flagler added another run on a sacrifice fly by
Jason Jones (Boca Raton, Fla./Boca Raton HS).
Guerra added a two-run double in the in the sixth for the Saints. He went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, two runs scored and two RBI. Bargfeldt went 3-for-4 with a runs scored and three RBI. Miller went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI.
Bryan Harrell (Granger, Ind./Lincoln Trail College) went 2-for-3 with a run scored.
Neil Forsyth (2-8) took the loss on the hill for the Seahawks. He went four innings, allowed nine hits and five runs. Four different Seahawks had a hit. Max Rios doubled home Nathan Forsyth in the sixth.
Flagler season concluded this afternoon while Northwood wraps up its season with a three-game series at home against conference-rival Florida Memorial University starting Apr. 28 at 3 p.m.
