AUGUSTA, Ga. – Flagler College's CJ Hanson was selected as the Peach Belt Conference's Pitcher of the Week for the period ending April 5, according to a release by conference officials this afternoon.

This is the second time Hanson has received the weekly award (Feb. 16).

The Tampa, Florida native tossed eight innings and allowed two unearned run on five hits with four strikeouts to earn a  victory over Georgia College & State University (April 2). Hanson induced 13 ground outs and six fly outs. He held the Bobcats to a .172 batting average.

Hanson is second in the PBC on earned run average (2.57), innings pitched (63), batters struck out looking (27), and is fourth in batters struck out (59) and opponent's batting average (.232).
