Natalie Herrin of the women’s basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Dec. 21.

The Patterson, Georgia native averaged 12.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game to help lead the Saints to a 1-1 record. She scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds at Middle Georgia State University for her second double-double of the season. Herrin followed that up with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals against UNC Pembroke.

Herrin is sixth in the conference in rebounding with a 7.1 per game average and leads the league in free throw percentage at 85 percent.
