Tymoteusz Pszczola of the men’s basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Dec. 14.

The Lublin, Poland native averaged 23.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game last week and helped Flagler win a pair of Peach Belt Conference games. He made 60.7 percent of his shots from the field and 42.9 percent of his three-point attempts. Pszczola was a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line. He poured in a season-high 29 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field in a 71-70 win over Georgia Southwestern. Pszczola followed that up with 18 points and eight rebounds in a 67-63 win over USCA. 

He is sixth in the PBC in rebounds per game (6.8) and is ninth in blocks per game (0.8).
