Eli Roberts of the baseball team was selected as Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 13.

The Fleming Island, Florida native tossed seven shutout inning and struck out a career-high nine batters to help Flagler College edge Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University 1-0 last Tuesday. Roberts retired 16 of the last 18 batters he faced.

This season so far, he has a 3-1 record with a 2.79 earned run average. Roberts has 46 strikeouts in 38.2 innings pitched.
