Taylor Stone of the women’s track and field team was selected as Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Mar. 16.

The Largo, Florida native competed in the NCAA Division II National Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana where she competed in the mile and the 3000-meter run. Stone posted a time of 4:53.19 in the mile after a competitor tripped in front of her, but her time of 9:33.38 in the 3000-meter earned her second-team All-American honors. Stone became the first Flagler athlete to be a two-time All-American.
