Simon Malis of the men's tennis team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Feb. 9.

The Ostrava, Czach Republic native went 2-0 in his doubles and singles match against Florida Southern College. Malis and his doubles partner Aniss Rafiq helped clinched the doubles point for the Saints with a 6-3 victory. In singles matches, Malis defeated Mario Garoz in three sets with a 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 victory.
