Omar Figueroa of the men's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Nov. 26.

Figueroa scored a team-high 21 points to lead the Saints to an 83-70 victory over Edward Waters University last Tuesday. The Carolina, Puerto Rico native sank a career-high seven three-pointers to account for all of his points.

Figueroa leads the PBC in 3-point field goals made per game (3.8) and is ranked fifth in scoring (17.6 ppg), sixth in 3-point field goal percentage (.442), and 12th in field goal percentage (.515).
