Lexie Morton of the women's lacrosse team was selected as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Holiday Inn Express for the month of April.
 
Morton was selected as the athlete of the week on April 17.

This is the second time Morton has received the monthly honor as she was named the February Athlete of the Month.

(From the April 17 release) The Milton, Georgia native scored nine goals and tallied four assists to help lead No. 11 (IWLCA Division II Top 25) Flagler College to a 2-0 week. She scored five goals and had one assist to help Flagler rally past The University of Alabama in Huntsville, 15-12. Morton added four goals and three assists the next day in a 24-7 rout of Shorter University.
