Nikita Tatyanin of the men's tennis team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 30.

Tatyanin helped the Saints post a 2-0 record in the NCAA Division II Southeast Region No. 2 Tournament this past weekend. The Barcelona, Spain native went 2-0 in singles, including a win over a nationally ranked opponent, and he won the lone doubles match with teammate Jagger Ong-Patzwald. His win at No. 1 singles on Sunday against No. 34 Floridan Walcher of Wingate helped tie the match and started a 4-0 run for Flagler to win the match and advance to the NCAA Division II Round of 16.

Tatyanin, the nation's No. 30-ranked singles player and he is one-half of the nation's No. 43-ranked doubles team.
