Luisa Hrda of the women's tennis team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 23.

Hrda took home Peach Belt Conference Tournament MVP honors in both singles and doubles. She won both of her singles matches, including a staight-sets win over the No. 50-ranked player in the country in the tournament final. Hrda is ranked No. 7. In doubles, Hrda and Dana Heimen were a perfect 3-0. The duo are ranked No. 24 in the nation and their win on Sunday over the nation's 18th-ranked tandem secured the doubles point for Flagler. 

This season, Hrda is 29-6 overall and is 16-3 this spring. She holds a 5-2 record against nationally ranked opponents. The Hrda/Heimen doubles team is 16-4 overall and 16-2 this spring. They have won six matches in a row.
