Cassidy Crump of the softball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 9.
 
Crump currently leads the team with a .352 batting average, after going 8-for-11 at the plate this past weekend against Lander University.  The junior secured a complete cycle over Friday and Saturday with five singles, a double, a triple and a home run. Crump also earned two RBI’s and scored three runs.
 
The Coral Springs, Florida native is ninth in the Peach Belt Conference in fielding assists and 24^th in hitting.
 
Crump has appeared in 37 games this season, tallying 39 hits with a .500 slugging percentage and 20 runs batted in.
