Megan Churchill of the women's indoor track and field team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Jan. 22.

The Tallahassee, Florida native posted a personal best time of 5:07.23 in the mile run at the RADD Collegiate Invitational last week at Gainesville, Florida. She finished in fifth place in the meet, which included teams from NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II and NAIA,. Churchill holds is the second fastest time in the mile in the NCAA Division II Southeast Region so far this year, which was at this meet.
