Taylor Gardner of the women's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Dec. 18.

The Jacksonville, Florida native averaged 16.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game as the Saints split their two games last week. Gardner tallied 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had four assists at Young Harris College and in a win over Lynn University, she scored 16 points and dished out six assists, which tied her career-high.

Gardner is sixth in the Peach Belt Conference in three-pointers made per game (1.9).
