Dan McGuire of the men's soccer team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Oct. 30. 

The Durham, England native scored two goals and tallied an assist in the Peach Belt Conference Semifinal against Clayton State University. McGuire assisted Liam Fisch's goal in the 20th minute. In the 77th minute, McGuire made it a 2-0 game after Jonas Schmitt sent a feed from the top left corner of the box to McGuire who scored from the edge of the goal area. McGuire netted his second goal of the game in the 89th minute after dribbling the ball up the field and taking the keeper one-on-one to seal Flagler's 3-0 victory.
