Flagler College Athletics

Andrea Fernandez of the women's soccer team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Oct. 23. 

The Pozoblanco, Spain native scored four goals in Flagler’s 6-0 win against Young Harris College, tying the program single-game record. Fernandez scored two goals in the first half and two goals in the second half. The sophomore leads the Peach Belt Conference in goals (17), assists (7) and points (41). Fernandez is second in the nation with 2.75 points per game and fourth with a 1.08 goals per game average.
