Luisa Hrda of the women's tennis team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending May 1.

This is her second athlete of the week honor (Oct. 4).

Hrda posted a 2-0 record at No. 1 singles and 3-0 at No. 1 doubles at the Peach Belt Conference Tournament as she helped lead No. 11 Flagler College to the tournament final. For her efforts, the Aschaffenburg, Germany native was named the tourney's most valuable player in singles and doubles, with teammate Eden Schlagenhauf. Hrda is ranked No. 5 in singles by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association and is half of the No. 8-ranked doubles team.

This season, Hrda is 29-6 overall in singles play and 17-3 this spring. She has a 24-7 overall record in doubles with a 18-5 record this spring.
