Jessie Mescal of the women's outdoor track and field team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Mach 27.

Mescal posted a personal-best time of 17:59.02 in the 5000 meter run at the Knights Invitational last weekend, which hits a Peach Belt Conference qualifying standard. Her time was good for an eighth place finish in the race. Mescal has the sixth fastest time in the 5000 in the southeast region.
