Jaizec Lottie of the men’s basketball team was named Athlete of the Month, sponsored by St. Augustine Inn, for the month of February.
Lottie was named player of the week on Feb. 21.
(From Feb. 21 release) Lottie averaged 31.0 points and 4.5 assists per game last week for the Saints. He sank 94.4 percent of his free throw attempts, including making all 14 at Augusta University last Saturday. Last Wednesday, Lottie poured in 32 points, 19 alone in the first half, against Clayton State University. The Aurora, Colorado native followed that up with a 30-point effort against No. 12 Augusta.
