Jalen Barr of the men's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Feb. 6.

Barr averaged a double-double last week for the No. 21-ranked (NABC Division II Top 25) Saints. He scored 16.5 points and grabbed 13.5 rebounds per game to help Flagler go 2-0 last week. The Charlotte, North Carolina native corralled a career-high 19 rebounds and tallied 17 points in Flagler's 69-60 win over Columbus State University. He also tied his career-high with four blocked shots. Barr scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds atv Georgia College.

He is second in the Peach Belt Conference in steals per game (1.7), third in rebounds per game (7.9), and fourth in blocks per game (1.4).
