Edie Lamoreaux of the Flagler College volleyball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week following the period ending Oct. 10.

The second year freshman from New Braunfels, Texas collected 47 digs (5.22 per set) and added seven aces to help lead Flagler to a 2-0 week last week. In the match at USC Aiken, Lamoreaux finished with a career-high 30 digs in a 3-2 win. Last Saturday, she had a career-best five aces at UNC Pembroke.

For the season, Lamoreaux has 156 digs (3.90/set) and is second on the team with 18 aces. She is second in the Peach Belt Conference in aces per set (0.47) and fourth in digs per set.
