Flagler College Athletics

Chris Metzger of the men's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending March 14.

Metzger helped lead Flagler to its first NCAA Division II postseason win with a game high 23 points, on 10-of-12 shooting from the floor, and seven rebounds. The Saints defeated the University of West Georgia 69-53 in the South Region second round (semifinal). 

For the season, Metzger is averaging 12.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. He is shooting 72.3 percent from the field, which ranks No. 2 in all of NCAA D2.
