Flagler College Athletics

Sara Sandberg of the women's soccer team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Feb. 21.

The senior from Örebro, Sweden native scored the first two goals of the season last Wednesday to help Flagler College defeat Valdosta State University, 2-1. Sandberg found the back of the net just 21 seconds into the match. Her goal in the 64th minute provided the insurance the Saints needed to hold off the Blazers.
