Rayven Wade of the women's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending March 1.

Wade averaged 20.0 points and 12.5 rebounds per game as the Saints concluded their season last week. She shot 64 percent (16-25) from the field and added seven steals. In the regular season finale vs. Francis Marion, on "Senior Day," the 5-foot-9 senior forward poured in 26 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field. Wade recorded a double-double last Wednesday vs. Clayton State with 14 points and a career-best 17 rebounds. 

Wade averaged 12.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game this season for the Saints. She was second on the team in assists (69) and steals (39).
