Flagler College Athletics

Juan Iturra of the men's golf team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending April 21.

Iturra won medalist honors with a 7-under par 209 and helped lead Flagler College to its third Peach Belt Conference title. Iturra shot a 7-under 65 in the final round of the tournament, the lowest score ever posted in the third round and it tied the lowest score for a round in the history of the tournament. He birdied the first four holes of the final round, and then added four more birdies.

Iturra is second on the team in scoring average at 73.04. He is ranked No. 96 in NCAA Division II by Golfstat.
