Felipe Carvalho of the men's tennis team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Feb. 24.

Carvalho played an instrumental role in both of Flagler's wins over top 10 opponents this past weekend. His straight sets win at No. 4 singles against No. 6 Saint Leo staked the Saints to a 3-0 lead in match they would go on to win 5-2. In the 4-3 win over No. 3 Lynn, his win in singles knotted the match at 3-all.

Carvalho is 6-1 in singles play this season and is a perfect 4-0 at No. 4.
