Sarah-Lisa Dubel of the women's soccer team was named as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Sleep Inn, for the month of October.

Dubel was selected as the player of the week twice in October.

For the period ending Oct. 7, Dubel recorded a career-high 15 saves to help preserve a 0-0 tie at Georgia College last Saturday. Her 15 saves are the most in a match this season in the Peach Belt Conference and was one shy of tying a program record. It was Dubel's third shutout of the season and her second consecutive. She has not allowed a goal in the last 228 minutes and 32 seconds.

For the preiod ending Oct. 28, Dubel turned in a pair of clean sheets last week as Flagler went 2-0. The Braunfels, Germany native collected one save in a 2-0 win at Eckerd and had one save in a 1-0 regular season finale win against Francis Marion.
