Maria Castorino Mujica of the women's soccer team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Sept. 30.
Castorino Mujica led Flagler to a 2-0 week with a pair of goals and she added an assist for five total points. The Asunción, Paraguay native did all of her damage in a 5-1 win at USC Aiken last Wednesday. She scored the eventual game-winning goal as she staked the Saints to a 2-0 lead. Against UNC Pembroke, she logged 52 minutes on the field and took one shot.
Castorino Mujica has scored three goals and has tallied two assists this season for Flagler.
