Heloise Duffie de Tassigny of the women's cross country team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Sept. 23.

Duffie de Tassigny finished in first place in two consecutive races. At the Mountain Dew Invitational last Saturday, she was the top finisher out of the non-DI entrants (ninth overall). Her time of 17:27.58 is the third-fastest time in the program's history.

Two weeks ago Duffie de Tassigny finished in first  place at the Asics Embry-Riddle Classic where she finished with a time of 19:06.20 and finished more than 26 seconds before the runner up. She beat all DI competition in the field (Seton Hall, Bethune-Cookman and Stetson).
