Flagler College Athletics

Tara Savisky of the volleyball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Sept. 9.

Savisky became the program's all-time leader in assists and the record-breaker came on match-point in Flagler's four-set win at LIU Post. She finished that match with 42 assists to give her a career total of 4,156 and counting. The Oakdale, Pennsylvania native finished the weekend with 91 assists and added 17 digs as well as 10 kills as Flagler went 2-1 against last year's top three teams from the NCAA D2 East Region.

Savisky is third in the PBC in assists and assists per set.
