Flagler College Athletics

Miranda Greene of the women's golf team was named as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Sleep Inn, for the month of April.

Greene was selected as the player of the week April 15.

Greene sank the putt that clinched Flagler College's second consecutive Peach Belt Conference Tournament championship, and third overall, Sunday afternoon at the Slammer and Squire Course at the World Golf Village. She earned all-tournament honors after finishing in a tie for second place with a 16-over par 232. Greene had a birdie on the No. 5 hole and had nine pars today. She tied for the tournament lead with 35 pars.
