Tabitha Odabe of the women's basketball team was selected as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Sleep Inn, for the month of December.

Odabe was the athlete of the week during the month for the period ending Dec 24.

The Keystone Heights, Florida native came off the bench to record her first double-double of the season with 18 points and 13 rebounds in a 77-61 win over Young Harris last Tuesday. The 6-foot-5 junior center also blocked five shots. Odabe made 9 of 11 from the field. 

Odabe averaged 7.2 points, a team-high 10.6 rebounds and 5.0 blocks per game and helped the Saints to a 4-1 record in the month of December. She made 72.7 percent (16-22) of her shots from the field.
