Heloise Duffie de Tassigny of the women's cross country team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Oct 8.

Duffie de Tassigny finished in second place at the Gene Mullin Invitational last Saturday. She posted a time of 18:46.13 over the 5K course. The Angers, France native finished under 14 seconds behind the winner. She was the top collegiate runner in the 57-woman field, which included Division I members University of Georgia and Furman University.

Duffie de Tassigny will now turn her attention to the Peach Belt Conference Championships, Oct. 21 at Columbus, Georgia.
