Fio Fustagno of the women's soccer team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Sept. 30.

Fustagno scored a team-high three goals and added an assist to help lead No. 12 (United Soccer Coaches Division II Top 25 Flagler College to a 2-0 week. The Asunción, Paraguay native scored a pair of goals, including one in the final minute of regulation, in Flagler's 3-2 overtime win at the University of North Georgia. She also tallied the assist on the golden goal just a little over four minutes into the overtime period. Fustagno scored a goal in Flagler's 4-0 romp at Georgia Southwestern State University last Wednesday. She scored three goals on just five shots for a shooting percentage of 60 percent.

Fustagno is third in the Peach Belt Conference in shooting percentage (50%) and fourth in goals (6) and points (14).
